Two prominent
rock formations rise out of the meadow to the west and suggested
considering the house as a metaphorical third. A composition
shingle and sod-roofed wedge-shape sweeps up out of the meadow
and achieves visual and physical harmony with the horizontality
of the setting such that not only has the house become a part
of the meadow, the meadow has become a part of the house.
