This unusually steep and visually sensitive site dictated a
solution that steps down the hill with glazing sloping in harmony
with the hillside area. Earth covered roofs further assimilate
the house into the terrain. An open, light-filled interior has
expansive views of the Bay Area, including lower Sausalito,
Belvedere, Tiburon, Mt Diablo, Angel Island, the East Bay, and
the urban San Francisco skyline.
