A triangular solarium is oriented towards a south ocean view
with two wings of the house extending out at 90 degree angles.
Three thermal chimneys echo the rising tree line and cool the
solarium by bleeding off excess heat and allowing the solarium
to be contiguous with the other interior spaces. Alternatively,
solar heat is stored in a rock bed beneath the floor where it
can be accessed as required.
